Pique Weekenders was built from that perspective, but also from more than 25 years of professional experience working in communication, healthcare, education, customer experience, operations, design, and team leadership.

​

Before building Pique, I worked with organizations including Harvard Medical School, Bristol Community College, Comcast, healthcare administration, e-commerce operations, and retail leadership.

 

Throughout those roles I managed projects, trained teams, built communication systems, improved customer experiences, and learned how to organize complex information into something people could actually use.

​

Even though the industries changed, the work itself stayed surprisingly consistent: paying attention, solving problems, building trust, and helping people feel supported.

​

Today those same skills shape how I approach pet care. Caring for pets and homes requires observation, communication, planning, consistency, and reliability. My goal is simple: keep things feeling as normal as possible while you're away and create a calm, dependable experience for both pets and people.

​

I created Pique Weekenders to support both local residents and visitors staying in cabins, rentals, and seasonal homes throughout Downeast Maine.

​

Outside of work, I'm naturally creative and curious. I enjoy design, plants, making things by hand, and finding better ways to organize ideas and solve problems. Animals have always had a way of becoming part of my life — and cats especially seem to make the first decision.
